Rick McCool

Mr. McCool’s background consists of over forty years of experience in the management, acquisition, disposition, development and construction of a variety of properties, primarily in the multi-family sector along with commercial.

In August of 1999, Mr. McCool joined Pedcor Companies as its Asset Manager with the responsibility of acquisition/rehabilitate and management of apartments primarily in the Southern California area. In 2001, Pedcor Homes Corporation was created to manage Multi Housing Family Properties. Since 2001, Pedcor Homes has grown to over 3,900 units, both conventional and tax credit properties, in 4 states with a value of assets in excess of $300,000,000.

In 2006, Mr. McCool created a Facility Management division that oversees all of Pedcor’s Commercial Properties in Carmel, Indiana which includes the corporate campus of Pedcor Companies, Old Town Shops, Indiana Design Center along with Carmel City Center.

He received his BS degree in Business Administration and a minor in Management from the University of Arizona in 1981. He received his CPM (Certified Property Manager) designation in 1987 and National Compliance Professional Executive in 2001. He is a licensed real estate broker and a member of Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors. Mr. McCool is also a capital board member for the Residential Property Management Program at Ball State University and previously served on the board of the Apartment Association of Indiana.
