Located along Farrow Road, northeast of downtown Columbia, Silver Station will provide multiple rental price points, including many affordable rents. The development will add new rental housing stock, meeting the demand for housing in the area, and assisting in facilitating economic development by providing multiple price point housing to new job entrants.
Silver Station will include three-story garden-style apartment buildings consisting of 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom apartments and a clubhouse. The apartments will have washer/dryer hookups, private storage, central air conditioning, a private patio/balcony, and other amenities to enhance the residents’ experience. The community amenities include a pickleball court, playground, swimming pool, dog park, and more.
Signature Construction, LLC, a Pedcor Company commenced construction on April 3, 2023, with completion scheduled for Q1 2025. RBM will manage the property, which is in line with Pedcor’s belief that the management of an apartment community is the key element for its ongoing success. The on-site management office will be staffed with an experienced full-time manager, leasing staff, and maintenance supervisor. Silver Station is one of 190 apartment communities in the Pedcor Companies’ portfolio. The community will be Pedcor’s first development in Columbia and the sixth Pedcor community in South Carolina.
